Just bring an extra extension cable, as power connections tend to get filled up fast, due to the number of people connecting their laptops to the place. I can't recommend this place enough! Access to the train station is also reasonable and is a 15-minute walk from the guesthouse to Kameari station. Also, if your birthday falls during your stay, the host will celebrate it by setting up a small dinner for you! :D Very personal touch to a very wonderful experience!

Set in Oshima, 15 km from Motomachi Port and 20 km from Okada Port, 築100年の宿【はぶの家】 offers a garden and air conditioning. We enjoyed a lot staying at your place. We found it beautiful and authentic and spent a very happy stay with our granddaughter. For our French Japanese family it was quite an experience. Kitazawa Cozy House is situated in the Setagaya district of Tokyo, 700 metres from Kitazawa Hachiman Shrine, 700 metres from Shinganji Temple and 1.4 km from Museum of Modern Japanese Literature. Our stay here was exceptional. We were warmly greeted by the host, who speaks fantastic English. The accomodation is the entire 2nd floor and is very roomy. Something about the atmosphere of the house encourages good, sound sleep. "Cozy house" is exactly right. The location is also fantastic... a quick walk to the station, but set in a quiet, relaxing neighbourhood. Highly recommended for families or anyone wanting a traditional, relaxing accomodation option.

Set in Ome, 38 km from Fuchu Park and 39 km from Fuchu Art Museum, Oyado Yaokyu 1st Floor in 4 Story Building - Vacation STAY 6713 offers air conditioning. This is one of those cases where I feel I lack the words to express how beautiful of an experience this place was by itself. The greenery view from the room window, attentiveness of the hosts, the handmade food they serve, everything was heartwarming.

銀河荘-Galaxy Guesthouse 12歳以下不可 is located in Hachijo and offers a garden and a terrace. This 2-star guest house offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge. The place is very cozy and the atmosphere chill. It feels like staying at your own place. The owner are very kind and they speak perfect English. If you go to Hachijojima, this is the place you should book!

In the Shinagawa Ward district of Tokyo, close to Togoshi-ginza Shopping Street, No Borders Hostel features free bikes and a washing machine. I can't say enough good things about this experience! The host, who told me to call him Ash, makes his hostel feel like a home away from home. It's no wonder people come back. Everything is so thought out and labeled in Japanese and English with great care. I had never stayed at a hostel before and it felt wonderful to stay here; I felt very safe, comfortable, and at peace. It was smaller which made it quieter and very peaceful. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have stayed somewhere where I looked forward to coming home to. Everything felt very personable. I got help with anything I needed. I can't say enough good things It was easy to find what I needed, I felt very safe, everything was super clean, I felt cared for, and it felt like a very personalized experience. I liked that it was affordable and that the host seemed to care about me as an individual person, not just someone using the service. I had some trouble with the booking/ made mistakes and he was very communicative and helped me out. He went above and beyond with helping me with my luggage and was very patient with me. That felt very comforting in a country that I was going to for the first time and couldn't speak the language. Also the location was about 30 minutes by train for everything that I wanted to go do/see. I felt safe as a solo female traveler walking around at night. Thanks again!

Set in the Ota Ward district in Tokyo, 5 km from Tokyo International Airport Terminal No2 Observation Deck, HISAYO'S INN features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. Hisayo is a wonderful host! She made me feel so so welcome! She was lovely to talk to and could tell you a lot about this to do in the are. She has a lot of humor, I had a wonderful time! Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable and didn't squeak at all. On my next journey to Japan I will certainly visit her again! またね❣️
