Located next to a sea of green rice paddies, so the view from our room on the top floor was fantastic. The room was spacious, clean and all around excellent. They organized a good safari to Yala for us. Also, it was fun to go and take a look at actual cinnamon trees at the plantation nearby.

After we arrived he took us for a little bird tour, which was really nice. He treated us with a fresh coconut, fruits and little snacks. The hospitality was outstanding. The room and generally the whole property was clean and comfy. We felt really welcomed and enjoyed our stay! We can definitely recommend this awesome place! Very nice, very calm property. It is close to Debarawewa lake which I found more beautiful than Tissa Lake with the birds and water buffalos. The owner is very friendly and extremely helpful and he offered to take me to and from Bus station which is really nice. The homestay is approx 2 km from Tissa Lake, you can take a tuk tuk or the owner can help you with transport, for me I prefer to walk. They can also help you with booking Yala Safari It is a great value for money

Bundala Bird Sanctuary is 26 km from the guest house, while Situlpawwa is 39 km from the property. The nearest airport is Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport, 28 km from Lake Face Cabana. Our time in this place was a genuinely beautiful experience. Equipped with binoculars, we enjoyed observing birds by the lake during the day. In the evening, the owner generously offered us a ride to a larger lake, where we had the opportunity to look at the bird nests and trees full of bats in the middle of the lake. The family was exceptionally helpful, providing us with delicious meals and engaging in friendly conversations. Additionally, they organised a memorable safari for us. We felt truly welcomed and embraced by their hospitality.

The guest house provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. It was briliant accomodation. Not far from the city. Very quiet a nice place. The rooms were clean and comfortamble. The personnel was very nice and also helpful. They arranged a trip to Yala Safari for good price. We drove early but we got breakfast takeaway. When we asked for dinner they prepared it. Also they recommended to us watching bats near the lake and drove us not only there but also to the next city.

La safari inn is such a nice place! I came here for two nights but because of the heavy rain and closing of the National park, I decided to stay only one night and I could cancel the second night for free! The breakfast was good and not expensive, the guy working there is super supportive. He found me a taxi to Mirirssa, at a very nice price. At night it is very quiet . Shame I didn't get to do safari, but hopefully next time!
