I was wandering if the amazing reviews and ratings were real. They definitely are! The host is super super kind and welcoming. She gave a lot of great tips. The place could be much more expensive but still be worth the money. The location is very close to everything but still quiet.

Old Town Guest House is just 800 metres from the popular Jonker Street and 900 metres from Mahkota Parade. It offers rooms with complimentary Wi-Fi access. Everything! The guest house is in the old part of town, step outside and there's SO many places to eat. A little local market just down the road and only 10 minutes walk to Jonker Street, the river and all the other delights that fabulous Melaka had to offer. The hosts of the guesthouse are what make it so fabulous. Super welcoming, full of information and ideas of things to do. Coffee and tea are available all the time plus breakfast of toast and spreads and delicious banana cake. We stayed in the triple room as we wanted a little extra space and it was perfect. The guesthouse is super quirky with colourful art and decorations. We loved it and would happily stay again. Super clean too.

Communication with the host is a breeze. I'm glad we took up this offer. 😌 I'm thrilled with it. Will return here without a doubt. We are grateful to Mr Luqman for helping us over our entire stay. Really good place for people wanting to experience living in the original living space of a Malaccan. Loved the concept like it is a hidden hotel as it is being access via a bakery.

Location is very very good. Love the rooms. Kids loved the bunk beds! They requested to have the same ones in our home. Very clean. Air con is awesome. Host is very polite. Will return if have the chance.
