He even got us food from the CactusCafé when we were stuck on desert roads and he then waited for us till we arrived late at night to have the check in and dinner. The house is stunning, furniture is chosen carefully and with love. You feel like home in the Guesthouse immediately. Great breakfast, very warm staff. We enjoyed our time very much and we 100% recommend going there.

Within an hour, my wife was admitted to the only private hospital in Walvis Bay. What does it all have to do with The Rez? A LOT! Malani went above and beyond what was expected of her. When you go on vacation, you don’t expect anything bad to happen. As we learned, it might. Malani literally saved us. And The Rez? Did I mention the nice location in an upscale residential neighborhood only 500 meters away from the waterfront, nice tasteful décor, a cozy courtyard, spacious rooms, upgraded bathrooms, great breakfast (try Ellen’s omelet), and referrals to carefully selected local vendors.

Christa is a warm and welcoming host. The waterhole in front of our room was great entertainment with all the animals that went there to drink. The game drive was a lot of fun. Peaceful and beautiful.

Stiltz Guest House offers bungalow accommodation built on wooden stilts situated in Swakopmund at the mouth of the Swakop River. The units offer views either of the Atlantic Ocean, the riverbed, sand dunes or of the lagoon. What a spectacular setting. We had a bungalow facing the sea, view was superb. Every comfort and facility provided. Breakfast in a very well appointed central bungalow was delicious with freshly cooked pancakes a real treat. We needed to leave early and the staff came early to provide us with a full breakfast. No restaurant but plenty nearby, we had a delightful meal at a local restaurant within walking distance.
