Ananda Guest house is located on the slopes of the Maderas Volcano on Ometepe Island, 19 mi from the port of Moyogalpa. The 5-acre organically managed property runs on a hybrid energy system including solar and grid energy. We had a great stay with my friend at Ananda Guesthouse! The view was incredible, super easy access from Balgue but also super peaceful and quiet. You feel disconnected when you are there. We also appreciate that they found us a guide to hike the Conception volcano, and they pre-booked our ferry tickets with the car. We will come back !

There is a restaurant next door but if you want to go to others it’s a close 10min drive. Look no further and stay here!

Thumbs very very very up for the lovely staff especially Beatrice who is a sweetheart. I was lucky to get a big room instead of the dorm ( which is quite nice ) and everything was so ok. Breakfast is delicious. Omotepe is such a quiet beautiful place with lush jungle full of animals, birds and amazing beaches. I more than highly recommend this hostel and this island
