The location is beautiful!! Beach huts are clean, comfortable and cozy. The lake is on your doorstep with views of the volcano to your right and a great sunset bar to your left. An island paradise with lovely dogs, chickens, a cat, ducks along with a friendly and helpful owner. Scooter access is 100% okay! There is a restaurant next door but if you want to go to others it’s a close 10min drive. Look no further and stay here!

Really amazing hostel super clean comfortable, has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable sofás really nice ,TV with netflix, Hbo, the family who run the hostal are lovely they recommend you the best plan to do. It also has a lots of fans on the dorm super fresh. Would definitely stay again. I recommend it!

Charmingly decorated property with a lot of greenery. We had a lovely private cabin with a comfortable bed and a nice shower. Lots of friendly animals on site. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Hostal Bullshark is a recently renovated guest house set in Cuatro Esquinas, 16 km from Maderas Volcano. Tatiana was the best of host, she deserve a medal, she oriented us to the best activities, Location to eat, and she rented us scooter at the best price. the chicken bus allows to go everywhere from just the front of the hostel to the rest of Ometepe: what a place !

Guest House Nena is a recently renovated guest house in Moyogalpa, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. The property features inner courtyard views. I left two pouches with my passport, money, and everything important I was traveling with at the Guest House Nena when I departed to take a ferry back to San Jorge. I had no idea I had left them! They were under a sheet on the bed that I had inadvertently covered them with. After the people at the Guesthouse found my pouches and their valuable contents, they looked around for me, and the young lady from the Nena eventually ended up boarding ferry before we left and asked for me. Fortunately, she found me. I thanked her profusely and gave her a hug. I was extremely happy and grateful to have my stuff and to have adverted a semi-disaster. I owe that girl and the Guest House Nena in Moyogalpa….
