It is a fantastic and cosy building with unique atmosphere. A great philosopher Wittgenstein used to stay there about 100 years ago and his room is well preserved. And not to forget a very warm welcome from the owner.

First, definitively its location which is directly at the fjord, that giving us a wonderful view every day. Besides that, also very near to SPAR supermarket if we need to buy something. Then, the cabin is so cozy and fit for our family. Complete with kitchen and balcony. Also having reserved parking spot for our car. Easy check in and check out. Astrid, the lady at reception, was so communicative and helpful. When we need something, she followed it up immediately. For our breakfast, she bought groceries and delivered it to our cabin. In overall, we are so happy to stay there during our holiday in Aurland 😘

The house is an historical building that is preserved as a museum full of details (read its history, it is very interesting: https://singerheimen.com/) and it is a privilege and a responsibility to be there. Despite being a building from the beginning of the 20th century, it is really clean and has all the comforts you need. We were even more fortunate to stay on the top floor, in the room that had been prepared for a visit from the queen. The views, incredible, the beds, very comfortable, plenty of space to store our luggage. The sun came in through the window while I was reading in a rocking chair... ufff... marvellous!!! In addition, breakfast is served in 2 bright rooms with large windows. It is at the entrance of a very beautiful valley, but also close to 2 other valleys that are worth visiting. And the best for last: the hosts (Kristin, Harald and their parents) are wonderful. We had a serious problem and we have no words to thank you for your help, your warmth and your lovely way to manage it. Hope we can come back one day!
