Minaret Ridge Retreat in Wanaka boasts accommodation with free bikes and barbecue facilities. The property is around 4.3 km from Puzzling World, 1 km from Lake Wanaka and 18 km from Treble Cone. The whole place was excellent. The location near the beach which the excellent host Jay pointed out to us was an added bonus. We had the privilege of seeing Adele in concert a few years ago. The shower cubicle in the bathroom reminded us of the set she used in the song ‘Set Fire to the Rain’. The song concept makes no sense but the shower was amazing just like at Minaret Ridge!

Jenny was extremely friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was lovely, very clean, had very comfortable bed and had a spectacular view. There was a short walk to town and the beach.
