The room was updated, the perfect mix between updated and classic historical. Absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen area surpassed expectations. At one point I had forgotten the code to our room, and the owner was super patient and kind. We can’t wait to go back! It’s a super short distance to downtown Grass Valley, and the updated shops and gluten free bakery were a big plus! Great location.

The neighborhood is safe and nice, but mind that you would probably need a car if you plan to visit the city and not only stay around the studios. The host, Julia, is just an amazing and kind person. She came over in the first evening after we checked in, shared some tips for our trip, even prepared a full day itinerary for us ♥️ moreover, she took us for a quick ride in the neighborhood showing some of the scenic viewpoints.
