You can park for free in the surroundings, and it's safe to walk to the French quarter (you'll see some beautiful mansions along the way).

The nearest airport is Monroe Regional Airport, 62 km from the guest house. The approach to the house is great; nice neighborhood and easy to locate. Once there I was greeted by Ms. Johnny, the lady who owns the house, after that she was nice to give us a brief tour of the house. Every room was clean and well designed with an old fashioned air about the place. There are plenty of pictures of her and family in every room showing her long history. The facilities on the property were well stocked. The bed was fantastic with fresh sheets that are layered well and semi firm mattress that is comfortable and provides maneuverability. There are two TVs, both with streaming services, that are located in the living room and bedroom. My partner and I were given privacy with our host only a phone call and short trip away.
