This property is absolutely stunning. The owners of the property are both so lovely and welcoming when you arrive. The rooms are huge, very very clean and beautifully decorated. The winner is the garden though, it is absolutely beautiful and such a nice place to relax and spot monkeys and other wildlife. It is about a 3.5km walk to the cloud forest and although it’s a bit out of Santa Elena there are nice restaurants and bakeries next door. There is also a big kitchen that is well stocked with cooking equipment etc. The hosts also provide you with a coffee maker in your room and coffee each day. It’s a really fantastic place to stay.

The main bedroom has 180 views to the forest, while the living room has also a beautiful view towards a terrace. Every morning we had our private birds show in the trees in front of the terrace. My husband was working outside, and the birds weren’t shy at all to sit very closed to him and show of their colorful plumage. We were only two, but the cabin can fit four comfortably. And it has two bathrooms which we really appreciated it. The kitchen had all the tools a cook could dream of, but we only used a few. 😊 Definitely, a place to recharge and enjoy the nature.

    The room was very spacious and well equipped. Comfortable bed, powerful shower and very clean. Superb views and a great outdoor sitting area. The restaurant was very good, all meals were of high standard. Nancy was exceptional, providing great service but going over and above to ensure our stay was perfect. She helped organise our tour in the Cloud Forest, and came in early to provide breakfast before we went.

    The hotel is located in a more peaceful part of Monteverde, which is lovely. It is a great gateway to explore the Cloud Forest. Very clean and comfortable room with access to drinking water and tea. Excellent restaurant. Most importantly, the owners are the nicest people we met in Costa Rica. Marta and Juan Carlos really made our stay special. You can feel that they run their hotel with true passion. Don't forget to ask them for local recommendations, they will also book tours and activities for you. Really recommend.

    This accommodation has a magical location in the hills not far from Monteverde. It is quiet with wonderful views, away from the tourist traffic. The cabins with their own bathroom are simple, very clean, the blankets are warm enough. Anna and Carlos and their family are very nice people, they cook excellent meals, all from their own garden, and dessert at the end. Nothing is a problem, very friendly host. Great time. Thank you.

    Very nice and spacious apartment. We got a warm welcome, very friendly host who gives good tips and good communication. Also a very clean apartment. Very quiet location, by car 10 minutes from the center. We would definitely recommend this apartment. Nice extra: the dogs and cat are super sweet.

    Very clean and delightful in setting and in room decor. Had refrigerator and a hot water maker was supplied at our request. Comfortable bed. Very nice shower though not warm enough for my full enjoyment. Good breakfast.
