This property is absolutely stunning. The owners of the property are both so lovely and welcoming when you arrive. The rooms are huge, very very clean and beautifully decorated. The winner is the garden though, it is absolutely beautiful and such a nice place to relax and spot monkeys and other wildlife. It is about a 3.5km walk to the cloud forest and although it’s a bit out of Santa Elena there are nice restaurants and bakeries next door. There is also a big kitchen that is well stocked with cooking equipment etc. The hosts also provide you with a coffee maker in your room and coffee each day. It’s a really fantastic place to stay.

They arrange experience, transport, tips, you name it. And cherry on the cake the complimentary fresh fruit brought in the morning. Totally recommended.

We felt really spoiled in this treehouse so closed to the road, but also in the middle of the forest. The main bedroom has 180 views to the forest, while the living room has also a beautiful view towards a terrace. Every morning we had our private birds show in the trees in front of the terrace. My husband was working outside, and the birds weren’t shy at all to sit very closed to him and show of their colorful plumage. We were only two, but the cabin can fit four comfortably. And it has two bathrooms which we really appreciated it. The kitchen had all the tools a cook could dream of, but we only used a few. 😊 Definitely, a place to recharge and enjoy the nature.

It is a great gateway to explore the Cloud Forest. Very clean and comfortable room with access to drinking water and tea. Excellent restaurant. Most importantly, the owners are the nicest people we met in Costa Rica. Marta and Juan Carlos really made our stay special. You can feel that they run their hotel with true passion. It is quiet with wonderful views, away from the tourist traffic. The cabins with their own bathroom are simple, very clean, the blankets are warm enough. Anna and Carlos and their family are very nice people, they cook excellent meals, all from their own garden, and dessert at the end. Nothing is a problem, very friendly host. Great time. Thank you.

We got a warm welcome, very friendly host who gives good tips and good communication. Also a very clean apartment. Very quiet location, by car 10 minutes from the center. We would definitely recommend this apartment. Nice extra: the dogs and cat are super sweet.
