We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The apartment was extremely clean, cozy and well equipped. The neighborhood was very calm and quiet. You'll surely feel the peacefulness and tranquility by the sound of nature around you. We absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone travelling in Rovianemi, we would love to stay here again.

Saarituvat Cottages, casa a Rovaniemi

Just 7 km from the centre of Rovaniemi, scenically located by the Kemijoki River, these cottages offer private terraces and free WiFi.

Everything was just perfect, from the time of booking to the departure. The cottage is spotless, cozy, and just in front of the river, with everything you need (obviously it is a cottage and not an hotel). You can find even American coffee machine, hairdryer, towels. But the stay wouldn’t be so perfect without the amazing service of Paula: she provided me with useful information before hand, and even if I arrived late in the evening and after the check-in time, she left the keys ready for me and her mobile phone if I needed anything. She also checked if I could extend for one extra night, and asked if she could help in finding me another location. The cottage is situated 10 minutes by car from Rovaniemi city centre, which has an efficient taxi service, so I could easily go to the city with the taxi, and if you book a tour with some local companies, they come to pick you up directly from the cottage, so the distance from the city did not bother me at all. It made my experience even more special, as I could see amazing northern lights form the river where the cottage is situated! Thank you, Paula, for your kindness and outstanding hospitality!!

Exceptional stay, out of the way of any noise but still in a great location for a lovely walk to santa village, or for a walk in the beautiful woodlands. They went above and beyond to provide a delicious cake and balloons for my daughters birthday, and were extremely accommodating. Could not have asked for more!

Situated in Rovaniemi, 14 km from Arktikum Science Centre, Lapland Hygge features accommodation with a sauna and a hot tub.

Hands down the the nicest place ever. There is beautiful wooden sauna, indoor and outdoor hot tub, and you can barbecues while you soak in the hot water under the stars. Amazing views of frozen lake, where you can go ice swimming, we even tried to cut the ice hole ourselves, but it is more difficult than it looks like. Bunnies and and squirrels can be observed from windows when the sun goes down. Fire place and central heating, we were so cosy even during -26 degrees temperatures hit. Clean, modern, and the hosts were absolute stars, thank you Sanna and Timmo, this stay felt like living in the fairy tale for a few days

Janne and Laura were very nice and responded quickly to questions via chat. our stay in the mini villa was truly magical.

    Arcticmint is a recently renovated villa in Rovaniemi, where guests can make the most of its barbecue facilities and shared lounge.

    Close to the city but far away enough to feel isolated in nature. We regret not staying for 5 nights.

    Tot!!!! L'apartament tenia de tot, molt ben equipat, molt net, tot el que vam necessitar! Inclús cafè, te i altres queviures. Ens va encantar tot!!! Vam sentir-nos com a casa!

    La caseta molt acollidora, ben situada en una zona propera i tranquila, i amb tot el necessari a tots els espais. Anavem amb 2 nens petits i no vam trobar a faltar res, jocs a dins, trineus a fora! El propietari, l’Ari, molt agradable i amable, ens va fer un cop de ma quan ho vam necessitar. Moltes gràcies!! Hi tornarem segur!

    És una caseta preciosa i comfortable al costat d’un llac. Es troba a uns 40 minuts conduint de Rovaniemi, rodejada de natura i amb una tranquilitat absoluta, amb bona carretera per arribar-hi i un paisatge preciós per conduir-hi. Té un jardí immens on els nens han pogut disfrutar de la neu, i l’interior és còmode, calent i pràctic.
