We stayed 2 nights and it wasn't long enough! Our apartment was beautifully decorated, clean and our host, Pia, made us feel like family. The accommodations are thoughtfully situated around the stables and grounds; there is a lovely shared garden space with a fire pit, jacuzzi (too early in the season for our stay), picnic area. We stayed in the petit home of the two: the kitchen had all the necessities, it was spotless. My children loved their room. Pia shared how to play with their baby goats as well as how to interact with chickens with my children, which absolutely thrilled them. In the morning she had them bringing clippings to their pen and help her tend to the baby goats. She had excellent recommendations for activities in the area. In the evening, she guided the guests on an evening walk with the goats around the property and gave us all a tour of the stables to meet their horses. The buildings are designed to be sustainable, including a bio-roof on the stable itself, which is so amazing. Everyone we met who was either tending to their horse, or stopping by, was friendly -all of the animals are loved and happy. The area around the property is surrounded by hiking and biking trails. The wine road is easily accessible, if that is something you wish to do. The area has a great deal to offer families beyond vineyards. Grocery options are very close by and Colmar is just a few minutes drive to park and walk. My children and I absolutely loved our stay - my husband could not come with us due to work, so we've already booked another stay in the Fall so that he can accompany us.

Luxembourg
We were 2 families, 7 people in total and we found the house amazing. It is big enough to host 10 people, with nice, sunny rooms with TVs, big kitchen and living room and several bathrooms and showers, some of which en-suite. The kitchen is very well equipped. The house is located on a quiet street surrounded mostly by other villas and only a few minutes on foot from the Little Venice bridge, which is a main point of entry to the larger pedestrian area. The online check-in process made it very easy to get and leave the keys. One pleasant surprise I would like to note about the house is the book collection in the leaving room, which is also visible in one of the pictures. The range of authors on the shelves as well as the edition dates of some of those books are impressive to say the least. We would have certainly perused it more had we stayed longer.

Excellent location, 5 minutes by foot from city centre. The house is also conveniently located at 10-15 minutes by foot from the train station. Excellent instructions for the heating. The stairs in the house are bit steep for small children but otherwise the house was lovely.
