The owners have thought of everything for their guests comfort. The cottage looks deceptively small outside but is amazing inside. The panoramic windows in the living room have incredible views down the valley. Although it is in a fairly remote location(the nearest town is 20 minutes away), it is just off the main ring road around Iceland. Don’t be worried about road noise. The road is not that busy and you can’t hear a thing inside the house. The kitchen is fully equipped - there’s even a dishwasher. There are other accommodations on the property but nobody bothered us.

Very comfortable beds. All very clean and off high quality. Dinner is prepared by the owners (excellent!) and eaten at a large common table with other guests, which was a very pleasant experience. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.
