We took ski and snowboard lessons with Sam, Taki, and Kotone at Nozawa and Togari, and as it turns out Taki’s wife is a world class baker who cooked up the best breakfast buns this side of the Pacific. The villa is quite spacious. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The living area and dining area were really nice to relax in. The kitchen was really good, tons of space. Lovely open plan living spaces on ground floor, secluded location (with a temperamental baby we didn't have to be worried about crying waking neighbours), great bathroom, drying room and washing facilities, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. Free local bus to the Nagasaka gondola just up the street, very helpful staff from the nearby sister lodge (assisted with free lifts to town etc). We asked for a cot and a high chair and this wasn't a problem.

Location is a short 5-10 minute walk into the main part of town. Super comfy quilts. We were there in February so naturally a cold time of year. They had lots of heaters thankfully, but once turned off, the house got cold very quickly again. They arranged parking for us close by for a good price.
