BRIECH HOUSE, holiday home in Asilah

The holiday home with a terrace and sea views has 2 bedrooms, a living room, a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with an oven and a fridge, and 1 bathroom with a bidet. A private entrance leads guests into the holiday home, where they can enjoy some fruits and chocolates or cookies. The property has an outdoor dining area.

Everything was just perfect! Our host Hicham was genuinely friendly and attentive. He met us personally, and helped us settle in. The little house itself is lovely and in an immaculate condition. The kitchen is well-equipped to prepare one's own meals and since there is also a big-screen TV, there is no need to go anywhere on stormy days. The surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful with lush pastures, hilly slopes and the wild Atlantic Ocean with its vast, sandy beach. The walk down the hill from the bus stop (we took a bus from Tangier, so the house can easily be reached without a car) is amazing. There are plenty of farm animals around, cows, sheep and hens, and many cats that we grew very fond of. There is also a little store by the highway (less than 1 km from the house), where you can get basic foodstuffs (water, bread, eggs, milk, some vegetables, etc.). Overall, Hicham's place is ideal for those guests who like some peace and quiet, and want to experience Morocco's beauty in a less touristy area on the Atlantic beach.

The house was large, very spacious and very clean. All the rooms have their own shower etc and plenty of cupboard space, the decor was really nice and overall the house is very welcoming and a perfect villa for a large family (we were a group of 10). The pool was really nice and the view over to the sea was spectacular! The garden facilities are great esp if you have kids, with a large football pitch and play area. The villa is in a very quite and rural area, very peaceful and a great place to stay if you just want to get away from it all. The beach is just a 10 min drive (but be prepared for a rocky drive down a dirt track), but once you get to the beach it is stunning, with an amazing coastline and beautiful scenery, the beach is very remote and we had the very large beach all to ourselves most of the time! The host was very helpful and friendly, and anything we asked for he was able to help with.

    The riad was very clean, neat and tidy. Yusuf was extremely friendly and helpful, even making us tea on arrival back to the riad after dinner. Rida helped us with our bags from outside the medina, to the riad. Breakfast was very good. Communication from Mariam over Whatsapp was excellent - she was readily available, gave us the option to have dinner at the riad, and also gave restaurant recommendations.

    Just say:brilliant every thing Recomend hardly Very nice design, mix traditional and modern, Very clean, You couldn't even find a little stain on the glasses, they were so clear and shiny. everything comfortable. beautiful garden, terrace, Close to town, plenty of restaurants with reasonable price, coffee shope and vegetable store so you can enjoy from tasty fruits. I will go again Host: fantastic, friendly and very polite Special Soheila, one of the ladies who works there.

    Modern, very nicely presented Riad. Comfortable and very clean room with nice shower. Very friendly owners and staff. Quiet location but easy walking distance to Medina. Street parking in a quiet residential street. Roof terrace in the sun with views of the beach and sea. Fresh cooked omelette for breakfast.

    We had a really big apartment (with a kitchen and bathroom). Everything was very clean. The staff was very helpful. They ordered for us a taxi to the airport (in better price than taxi drivers offered us on the streets). This hotel is close to mosque which was advantage for us.

    It was really nice to stay at this property! the staff is very courteous and we also organized a very pleasant dinner with the owner of the house who always made us feel at home: whatever we needed, she was available to provide it for us! All very clean and quiet.

    absolutely 5 star, 3 min walk into the medina, well light and extremely safe area day and night, very spacious apartment with views over the new marina, quiet building, electric blinds and sun blocking curtains in all the rooms, very clean, sheets and towels all provided, we were two female friends and never for one minute felt unsafe, great bar and restaurant below which opens at 08.30 and plenty of parking
