Excellent location. Clean, well equipped. Lots of books on the shelf and toys for kids, and particularly odds and ends in the kitchen like salt, pepper and cooking oil. Very pleasing overall. Comfortable beds. Decor is quirky and reflects I guess the former occupant’s fishing hobby. Views outside were fantastic.

Possum Lodge is in a great spot, you can walk through the woods to the harbour for the boat trip to Doubtful Sound. Its just a shame there isn't a view of the lake. We stayed in the dorm and it was very cosy and comfortable. The kitchen area was well stocked, although it was maybe a bit small for purpose at peak times. The bathrooms were very clean.
