great location, 3 minutes from town and about 15-20 from Te Anau. comfortable beds, a great kitchen and amazing views. The hostess was lovely and accommodating and came to meet us upon arrival.

Keys were placed in the lock box and has been informed way before so that we had seamless check-in. We had good time with the board games. Views from the top deck lounge were stunning as we can see some snow on the mountains. House is maintained very well with top priority to cleanliness. This property is situated in a very calm area. Very easy to access Pearl Harbour and a 15 min walk to Fraser beach. Overall we felt like it's a home away from our home in Christchurch

Possum Lodge is in a great spot, you can walk through the woods to the harbour for the boat trip to Doubtful Sound. Its just a shame there isn't a view of the lake. Comfortable beds with good bedding along with a fridge and TV. The bathroom is a bit dated but clean with plenty of hot water. There is a separate laundry room and a separate communal kitchen. The washer is $2, as is the dryer. This place has some bad reviews. Maybe we were lucky and got a good room.
