In the Nakagyo Ward district of Kyoto, close to Kyoto International Manga Museum, 谷町君・星屋旅館・神泉ノ宿 二条城 has a garden, free WiFi and a washing machine. The property was spacious and had all the amenities we needed as a family. It was clean and tidy and secure. The staff cleaning and looking after the property were friendly and very helpful. We had a problem with the AC and they sorted it out immediately.

In the Ukyo Ward district of Shimo saga, close to Arashiama Bamboo Grove, 谷町君・星屋・談山旅館 京都嵐山 has a garden, free WiFi and a washing machine. This was a very traditional style Japanese house and we loved it. We had plenty of space for 6 of us, and the location was quiet. Plenty of small marts nearby, and a delicious noodle restaurant down the street. The room offered a waher/dryer, which was great. We were able to drop off our luggage early, while we explored Kyoto before check-in.

Situated in Kyoto, 500 metres from Kyoto International Manga Museum,Kyoto Machiya Fukune is an accommodation with a garden. The accommodation has a hot tub. Real gem and amazing stay- we stayed at Biwa. If you want to have a Japanese stay experience, I recommend you to stay here! Really unique experience, with free mini bar! Staff were really friendly and welcomed us with a big smile. Rule book was sufficient. Hosts also gave us a celebratory gift for our anniversary, thank you so much, we really enjoyed the stay. The place is slightly far from public transport so do plan some time to locate it. Do take some time to cool off the water hot tub if you think it is too hot!

Mulan Hostel opnaði í maí 2017 og er staðsett í Arashiyama, í 2 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Arashiyama-stöðinni. Ókeypis WiFi er í boði hvarvetna á gististaðnum. The place is very cozy. The room is clean and the beds are comfortable. The shared bathrooms are also well-taken care of. Oh-san was a perfect host. She was very pleasant and accommodating. Will definitely come again. The place is highly recommended.
