It's just like staying in your own home. Perfect for family with kids. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. will visit again

Nestled in the heart of Suhara, this impeccably preserved traditional house offers a truly immersive experience that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone visiting Japan. The owner was very nice and accommodating. Notably, the house's proximity to the nearby station and a charming izakaya lends it an added touch of convenience and allure.

Neighbouring Hakuba Iwatake Snow Field, Villa Komakusa offers a breath-taking view of the Northern Alps and a cosy cottage with wooden interiors and a ktichen. Our room was not only spacious and clean but also equipped with a piano and a fully stocked kitchen. The availability of kitchenware made our stay exceptionally convenient. The warmth of the room during the winter added to the overall comfort. The owner's kindness and the comprehensive facilities made our experience truly exceptional. Highly recommend! Everything exceeded our expectations, making it a truly perfect experience. Thank you!

The location was great, just out of town and close to all the slopes we wanted to get to. The place was very spacious and the amenities were great with high tech and everything we needed. Comfy beds and nice pillows. Great aircon that kept us warm our entire stay.

Hosts were so helpful, kind and easy to deal with. Great house and such great value. Sleeps 7 comfortably. Thank you for having us for the week, we had a great time and enjoyed the ski resorts and the town of Hakuba. Only note would be suggest you hire a car as not much in the village of Iwatake, hosts even arranged us a hire car through a company and had it dropped to our door - no hassles at all, and so helpful and convenient. Hosts were open to assisting with everything we needed - even assisting with booking a restaurant reservation. We cannot wait to come back!!!
