Close to the river and several hiking trails. We walked to the nearby town of Vianden and visited the castle, and we also walked across the nearby bridge to Germany and hiked to a castle on that side of the river. It was beautiful and peaceful!

Very well maintained camping along the water. Cute cabin at an affordable price. Possibility to order fresh bread and buy jam for the breakfast. Clear information ahead and during the stay. There is an assigned parking place for the cabin very close to the cabin.

The Vianden Cottage - Charming Cottage in the Forest ligger i Vianden i Mersch och har en balkong. The location of the cottage is beautiful. On the hill overlooking Vianden only a 15 minute walk from the city center (a walk which initially looks more steep and challenging then it actually is) The cottage is very well equipped and was very clean. Although the location is slightly remote, it was very easy to find. The owner is very pleasant and friendly. If you want to go and explore Vianden and it's surroundings for a few days, We would definitely recommend staying at the Vianden cottage.
