Our unit was super clean, modern and the beds were comfortable. We liked the option of being able to take our dog, we decided not to this time though. Was thoughtful to have some drinks, chocolates, milk and biscuits ready for our arrival as well as some fresh eggs in the fridge. Having the use of the free washing machine and drier was fab.

The Wheelhouse Inn features five self-contained houses and apartments with spectacular sea views, from Nelson's Port Hills to the lovely Tasman Bay. Location was quiet and scenic. Had a good time at the Captain's Quarter. Highly recommended.

Liked the place, was very peaceful and the pool was the best feature which the kids loved. The beds were one of the most comfortable beds I ever slept in, had some great nights sleeps. Would have been even better if we had room cleaning everyday, but overall great place to stay.
