We liked the option of being able to take our dog, we decided not to this time though. Was thoughtful to have some drinks, chocolates, milk and biscuits ready for our arrival as well as some fresh eggs in the fridge. Having the use of the free washing machine and drier was fab.

The Wheelhouse Inn features five self-contained houses and apartments with spectacular sea views, from Nelson's Port Hills to the lovely Tasman Bay. Beautiful property with stunning views and well functioning layout and amenities. It is a destination on its own and I would definitely book this place again if I come back to Nelson, and I'll stay longer.

Hi there, the house was very comfortable, the beds were comfortable, the location was good to anywhere around the Nelson area and the road was quiet and the house quite secluded.

Liked the place, was very peaceful and the pool was the best feature which the kids loved. The beds were one of the most comfortable beds I ever slept in, had some great nights sleeps. Would have been even better if we had room cleaning everyday, but overall great place to stay.
