This is quite simply one of the most fantastic places I have ever stayed. Harold House has been restored to immaculate condition. When we arrived, we spent ages simply wandering around marvelling at these gorgeous, well-appointed rooms and all the fascinating heritage features and items. The location is very convenient in Reefton township, but also quiet. If you are visiting the West Coast, I highly recommend staying here; we wished we had booked longer—in terms of accommodation, it was the best of our entire road trip around the South Island.

Paparoa Beach Hideaway with Hot Tub features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Barrytown. This property offers two separate holiday houses. Wonderful secluded beach cottage in forest setting 15 minutes south of Punakaiki. Pleasant 10 minute walk to beach. All necessary conveniences with comfortable bed and well-stocked kitchenette. Nice hot tub a minute walk away, shared with the other nearby cottage.

Experience award winning architecture in a forest setting, 4 km from the famous Pancake Rocks. Punakaiki Forest Retreat is a private holiday home offering free WiFi. The location is stunning. The property was spotless and stylish. It made a great base for our short visit to the West Coast. Would stay there again.

There was everything you could possibly hope for and more. Lots of thought and effort had gone into making the breakfast very appealing and appetising. Greatly appreciated! The surrounding location was beautiful and we were glad that our hosts gave us some recommendations to view that we would most certainly have missed otherwise.
