The communal fire pit was wonderful where people could come together at the end of the day and talk about their adventures. We had a great 3 nights and it felt like a home away from home. Wonderful spacious room, superfast WiFi, and Netflix available. Great central location handy to the aircraft operators and close to town.

It’s gorgeous! The views are breathtaking. Getting to see reindeer roam the property and play in the woods was magical. The owner was attentive and accommodating, going above and beyond. Because of Ken, we experienced the aurora two nights in a row! We had an amazing time and look forward to coming back.

Lovely cabin tin a the woods and small clearing. The cabin was also in the perfect location to see the lights because it was outside of the city enough to not have too much city lights, but close enough to go to Fairbanks and other cute areas to visit during the day time. The house had everything you needed for a great stay. They even provide firewood for out door fire pit which was a fun night to roast marshmallows. The owners where so sweet even when I had a hard time finding the place do late at night.

This location maybe the sweet spot. It is just a short drive to the heart of the city but felt like we were deep in the woods. Being attached to the main house, we felt on an adventure, yet safe. Our hosts made us feel welcome from the first moment. If you're looking for a sense of "the real Alaska" without having to give up all the niceties of modern living, you can't go wrong with this property.
