I spent 5 days at Dewi's place and had a complete detox. This place is heaven on earth. I have never been so connected with nature. I must say it took me a while to get used to it, but this process was special in its own way. Dewi is so caring and makes amazing food, so you soon feel at home and taken care of. Make sure you bring enough cash with you, since there are no ATMs. You need enough, not because it would be so expensive, but because there are many things I would not want you to miss. I did a tour with Putu who is another special human. He is so open to sharing knowledge, I had a great time with him. I will never forget the meditation we did in the middle of the jungle. I did a cooking class and had a massage. All was nice. Even though the place is remote, Dewi and her team has plenty activities for guests to do. Another amazing thing about this place is the people you meet there. It does attract some nice humans, some of them are open to meet and have a nice talk with you if this is what you are looking for. I don't recommend this place to people who expect luxury in a "typical way" as having AC, pool, western food on the menu... Thank you Dewi, Putu and the whole team who is working hard to keep this place so welcoming.

The breakfast overnight oats was delicious. So nice to wake up two mornings in the tranquility of the rice paddies and be able to step in and walk about there. I had a massage and it was also so great. The swimming pool was perfect for a dip after trekking the rice paddies. The reception/dining area was a pleasant space. If you just want to chill, this is an extremely relaxing spot. Our semi-detached bungalow bedroom was a good size but the soundproofing was poor so if going again we would book a detached (but even more expensive!) bungalow.
