Featuring 2 hot tubs and free parking, Tenorio Lodge is located between the Tenorio and Miravalles volcanoes and only 12 km away from the Tenorio Volcano National Park and Rio Celeste River. Amazing location and amazing rooms. Could lie in bed in the morning and look right into the forest with birds almost close enough to touch. Great view of the volcano too.

This lodge is surrounded by a natural trail that leads to Miravalles Volcano and Bijagua River. It arranges horse-riding, fishing and bird-wathing activities, as well as shuttle services. Amazing, quiet, away from the tourist masses. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a more authentic experience. The breakfast and dinner on site were pretty good and very practical. The trail next to the house is much nicer then the ‘main attraction’ Rio Celeste, if I had to choose between those two, I would choose the Cataratas Bijagua any day; a bit more rugged and into nature.
