The rooms here offers modern comforts and while maintaining the traditional decor. It is fitted with hardwood flooring, TV and dining table. Guests can enjoy the mountain view from the balcony or the garden view from the terrace. The private bathroom comes with a shower and towels. Our host was most helpful, friendly. She prepared us tasteful breakfasts and dinners, always taking into consideration our wishes. The room was large, airy, very comfortable. There was always cold drinks in the fridge.

It features a private beach area and a restaurant. Snorkeling on the dive boat was excellent. Felt I was being looked out for. Two different locations each morning. Great dive crew. Bed in the cabin was comfortable.

It features an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and rooms with views of the valley from the terrace. Free internet and parking are provided. Very friendly host who takes time for the individual interests of the guests.

Located in Bunaken, 3WILL Bunaken Dive Resort is only a short distance from beautiful snorkelling and diving spots. It boasts a diving centre, massage services and a tour desk.

Each private cottage comes with a fan and a private balcony which offers views of the surrounding greenery. It features an en suite bathroom, mosquito nets and toiletries. It also has a seating area. A diving resort that is very well run in terms of lodging, dining as well as diving. The cabin was as described/depicted in photos, frequently cleaned and sheets changed when asked. The food is amazing and varied, while vegetarian and pescatarian options are suitably offered. The whole team try their best, are easy going and speak English. As for the diving, it is a blessed place, even if you only snorkel around the resort you will have the opportunity to see turtles and milliards of fish and creatures. Located in the famed diving site of Bunaken, Onong Resort offers cosy and homey beachfront accommodation featuring free WiFi access throughout the property. This property can also help arrange dolphin tour upon request and at an additional charge. The nearest diving and snorkeling spot can be found just a 2-minute walk away. Snorkelling gear is available with a fee. Clear water with clean beds and delicious meal.

Located right on Bara Beach in Bira, Cosmos Bungalows offers a beautifully simple beachfront accommodation where each bungalow has sea view. Free on-site parking space for guests who drive. The property has a lot of staircases and may not be suitable for elderly or young children. The bungalows are simple and very nicely decorated. The views are to die for. I loved the stairs straight down to the beach, the hammock on the veranda, simplicity, small scale and the overall value for money. Located on Bunaken Island along the Pangalisan Beach, Cakalang Resort offers diving and snorkeling opportunities on-site. It has a restaurant and a 24-hour front desk.

Fan-cooled bungalows come with free Wi-Fi and feature garden and sea views. Tea/coffee-making facilities and an en suite bathroom with shower facilities are available. The food was very good. Ferdinand was great, the ferry wasn't running so he was able to find alternative transportation back and forth so we didn't miss out on our time at Bunaken. The reef is right in front of the facility.

Set on a mountain with views of natural scenery, Gardenia Country Inn is a 10-minute drive from Tomohon Traditional Market. Enjoying a peaceful location, it has a meditation pavilion and a hiking trail. The food was excellent and the gardens are spectacular

Housed in hill-facing wooden cottages, the basic rooms are all equipped with a satellite TV and mosquito net. Private bathrooms come with running hot and cold water. Some rooms have a minibar and fridge. If you are ready for a breath of fresh, cool(er) air, then be ready for Highland Resort and Nature Tours in Tomohon. This delightful collection of villas is set at an elevation of 650 meters (2132 feet). Beautiful landscaping and lovely accommodations. We slept very comfortably in our room - even without an aircon unit! The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. They helped to arrange drivers and tours during our stay. We went to the crater edge of Gunung Lokon Volcano and later went to Tekaan Telu Waterfall. Along the way, we were greeted by friendly and curious locals. Be sure to learn a few basic greetings in Bahasa Indonesia and you may just find yourself a welcome guest anywhere you go! We arranged our own bird guide and had an excellent birdwatching tour. We were able to see a number of species that were high on our list, including the Scaley-breasted Kingfisher & the Superb Fruit Dove! Due to Paskah (Easter), we may not have experienced the food the way the lodge intended. Meals had to be ordered from town and not all options were available. Despite that, the staff was helpful in ensuring our stay was pleasant. We loved our stay at Highland Resort and hope we have a chance to come back!
