Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, The Resort at Isla Palenque Member of the Cayuga Collection by Cayuga Collection is located in the Gulf of Chiriquí, close to Boca Chica in Panamá. Free Wi-Fi access is available in this resort. Truly one of the best places I've stayed. The staff were absolutely amazing, anticipating all our needs and going above and beyond in every way (Carlos and Guillermo delivering greeting us after our morning kayak with green juice, Benny serving up delicious custom cocktails, Iris who gave us the most incredible deep massage, Benny arranging all the experiences we wanted, putting up with our terrible dance moves, and making sure all our needs were taken care of... I could go on and on.) And then there is the place itself! The cabanas were heavenly – the mattress was a cloud and that outdoor shower was truly one of the best either of us have ever had. Add in the monkeys and sunset views right out our front door? Wow. Will be dreaming of this place for a long time, and hope to someday return!

Situated in Bajo Boquete in the Chiriqui region, PANAMA CAMPING PARK has a garden. This holiday park features free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. Free WiFi is available throughout the property, as well as a terrace and a restaurant. The property also offers accommodation for disabled guests. The rooms at Panama Camping Park are very comfortable and designed well, including a nice private bathroom, a flat-screen TV, a ceiling fan, great lighting, a comfortable bed, and small sitting area outside. The included breakfast gives you three options (I chose the traditional Panameno option), which was delicious. While not in the center of town, it's just a short walk to local coffee shops/bars/restaurants and just one block from a new and well-stocked El Rey grocery store. Best of all, the bus to David stops near that store, which is very convenient for an early (5am) trip. I rested very well here.

Featuring accommodation with a terrace, Finca Caramelo is set in Boquete. The villa has mountain views and is 46 km from David.

The nearest airport is Enrique Malek International Airport, 51 km from the accommodation. The mountainous setting was spectacular with amazing views and the grounds were lush with tropical plants. It was a very relaxing and chill space. There are multiple seating areas on the property to relax and enjoy the view. We had a car (which I would recommend) as it is about a 5-7 minute drive to Boquet. The free coffee in the casita is a nice touch. Will stay again next time I'm in the area.
