Offrant une vue sur la montagne, le DOBAU village est situé à Vieira do Minho. Everything was just really nice. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, the rooms are amazingly big and comfortable, we enjoyed the private jacuzzi. From our terrace, the pool and the dining area, the view is just fantastic. Food was also good, and from the hotel, there are so many nice hikes to go to before relaxing at the pool.

The location was fantastic with an amazing view. The staff kind and attentive. The rooms were big and clean.

Offrant une vue sur les montagnes, le Pousadela Village est situé à Vieira do Minho. People are very nice and helpful. We arrived in the middle of the night (around 03:45) due to flight trouble and they left us instructions for pick-up of keys. We really appreciated the offered solutions. Thanks Ernani. Our luggage arrived 2 days later and they received them on our absence. Perfect! There are around 10 or 12 small bungalows, arranged internally like apartments, with terraces and outrageous views over the valley. There are modern kitchen equipment, with induction hearth, stove, dish washer and also some pans. If you are a cook you will miss some pans and additional equipment like mixers, but for usual cooking it is sufficient. There is a heated internal pool, very nice as we stayed 5 days in autumn and had a lot of rain, wind and low temperatures. Head caps are required and can be bought on reception for 4 € each. We had our breakfast included. During the days where there were enough guests, rich and varied options were available. As people got reduced, they asked us at night before to choose food from a menu. No desperdice. Perfect! We didn't eat at restaurant, but it smelled very well during the initial days and they offer some nice combinations at a relatively high price level (this seems to be inherent to the region), but we are not really enabled to evaluate this point. Rooms were clean on arrival. In bathroom there is a heating device which allows hanging and drying of bath towels. Very nice as this small detail is often neglected at hotels. As the bungalows are placed on a steep hill, it is adequate more for a bit sporty people. Access by road is also steep but asphalted and reachable by standard vehicles. We are planning to return to Peneda-Gerês (under better weather conditions) and would certainly consider to stay at Pousadela again.

Doté d'une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite dans tout l'établissement, le Casa do Sobreira propose des hébergements à Vieira do Minho, à 14 km du parc national de Peneda-Gerês. Une bel propriété à la disposition des vacanciers qui occupent les 3 appartements. On ne voit pas de personnel (sauf au début pour la remise des clés, mais c'est succint) mais tout est organisé pour que l'on ne manque de rien. Environnement calme et rural, belle piscine, jardin très bien entretenu, barbecue a disposition ... l'endroit est fait pour se détendre et se reposer. Il est également bien placé pour se rendre dans le parc Peneda Gérés ou sur Guimaraes et Braga. Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour (nous occupions le T1 en RDC).

Doté de 2 piscines extérieures et d'une piscine intérieure, le Quinta dos Carqueijais Gerês propose un hébergement à Valdosende, à 12 km de Geres. We had own breakfast basket delivered to our door, it was very generous so we had all the leftovers as snack for all day. The location is amazing with spectacular view, the gardens are very beautiful, the place is very private with only 6 villas and with direct access to the lake. We loved it and willBe back!

QUINTA GERÊS is definitely one of the best! Live in nature,  infinite outdoor space with pool and jacuzzi, special interior design,... Everything looks even better than in pictures. Miguel (the owner) is always available for any questions. Highly recommended property for big families or 8 adults.
