It was a pleasure to stay there for two nights, As long as you don't mind living with the housewife, very kind person, in the next room, there's nothing you won't like. The housewife very nicely maintains your privacy. You have a private bathroom available in opposite of the bedroom and If you are friendly person you can use their kitchen. The bedroom is large, clean and comfortable with a closet for storing clothes, a table and a chair. Excellent location, close to the airport, train station, highway, Santander city, but also close to food stores, local bars and restaurants.

Aitor and Antonio were very welcoming to me. As a guy who spoke very little Spanish, they were patient and considerate with me. They even recommended places to visit and see. The room had exactly what I needed, a good sized bed and a private bathroom. The room was cleaned by housekeeping every day too. While not in the main area of the city, Puerto Principe was only a 25 minute walk away from the main drag. If I were to revisit Santander, I would 100% considering rebooking here.

The location was great, although the staff didn’t speak English it was clear what they were trying to say. I had such a great stay at Hostal del Carmen! Not just because of the great location (e.g, direct Bus connections in all directions, 5 minutes walk to the city center), but especially because of the great service! I was always treated super kind and whenever I had a questions or request, they did not hesitate to help and support me. Another plus: the room has been always super clean. I will definitely come back! :-)
