Madu was a lovely host. We head a great stay at her beautiful, super clean and comfortable house with the nice garden around. The homemade breakfast, she prepared for us, was amazing. She gave us a lot of advices and infos about Sri Lanka and our further travels. Thanks so much Madu! It was a pleasure to meet such a warm person like you.

Had a wonderful stay at Sayura when I just arrived in Colombo. The house is beautiful and airy, and they even gave me the choice between two rooms. My room was super comfy and I loved the fact that they are very eco-conscious and give you a glass bottle with filtered water and products in big bottles. Also got really good coffee to prepare in my own room. On the property there is also a yummy Poke restaurant, perfect if you want something different than curries & Co. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and of course there is Max their lovely dog!

Ideally set in Colombo, Regent Residencies - Colombo is a recently renovated homestay, which offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and free private parking.

Thushara and his Partner were from beginning very helpful. We arrived early in the morning and got our room. The room was fantastic, big and really clean. Later we decides to take a tuk tuk to visit the city, and our Hosts organised it for us at a good price. Next Day we had to fly early to Colombo Airport and we had very early our wonderful breakfast served, and a uber which took us there. Great hospitality and feeling like home! Thanks for everything and success Regards from Berlin

Set just 10 km from R Premadasa Stadium, Dumi's Shelter Home Stay features accommodation in Colombo with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen.

What can I say? Dumi's shelter is exemplary! This is truly a slice of paradise, with a green and beautifully maintained walled and private garden to look out onto from the broad tiled verandah. The room itself is five star, with a gorgeous bathroom and ample hot water. Dumi obligingly organised to do a load of washing for me (even though it was 8.30pm), which was delivered back to my room and was easily dry by morning. Though there is no breakfast, tea and coffee are supplied. There's a bar fridge, and you can order in. Down the road is a restaurant or bakery for breakfast. The room has a private eating area and utensils. Nothing was too much trouble. A stone's throw from a busy road, but quiet, private and totally secure. And all that at an incredibly reasonable rate!

    Habitacions molt netes, confortables i boniques. El servei molt amable i servicial, com na Sanduni, que ens ha ajudat en tot moment. El restaurant de l’hotel compta amb una carta molt bona i un servei molt bo.
