We had a great stay. The rooms are very comfortable, modern and very clean. Dylan, the owner, is so welcoming and friendly. He also organised a great safari for us. Dinner is served outside and cooked fresh and is very tasty!

Incredible place, very friendly staff, good food. Tarique organized a full day Safari in nearby Willpattu for us everything worked out very fine. We saw an angry elephant, many birds, a leopard and a quarter of a sloth bear.

This was some of the best few days we had during our 2 week stay in Sri Lanka. Our hosts were very sweet and couldn’t do enough for us. Sussil offered us a safari tour soon after our arrival but wasn’t pushy or forceful. Immediately I felt he was very genuine in the price he quoted us and was able to bring it down by asking if we would share the jeep with other guests. His knowledge and skills on safari were excellent and we were not disappointed with our day. Even after a full 12 hour day safari Sussil made the guests Sri Lankan dinner and catered to everyone’s needs. Absolute hero with very good English skills. Room was good for the price and most importantly location just a few metres from the park entrance.

Very kind man that made our stay an extremely positive one. Hostel is in the most perfect location literally metres from the entrance of the national park.

I also booked a full day safari with them, which I also enjoyed a lot. The food at dinner is exceptional. Maybe the best food I had on my whole trip. It is cooked by the host family and comes as a buffet of sri lankan dishes. The room is nice, clean and comfortable.
