While we were looking for a place to stay to wander trough the old city of Mdina, or eye felt on Villa Vitoria. Bernadette was the most gracious host I’ve encountered in ages. This amazing historic building is exceptionally well maintained and furnished with exquisite details that excite the imagination, perfect for history lovers. Location is just steps away from the silent city of Mdina. Making it perfect for moonlight strolls once the day tripping tourists leave. She welcomed us with cold welcome beers, warm hospitality, and stories about the entire island and her family‘s history. She gave us great recommendations for restaurants and unique places to visit nearby within walking distance. The delicious breakfast that was served every morning was more than we could consume with plenty of options for everybody’s taste. The rooftop terrace and hot tub were a welcome bonus that surprised us! Her warmth and hospitality served as a perfect book end for our beautiful stay in Malta. Cannot wait to come back again and stay here!!!

Oh my! So glad we found this spot. Perfect location to see all highlights in central Malta and right across from the main gate to Medina. We could walk there each day and soak up the history. Our room was large and spotless. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was provided from the sweet cafe next door. And Johnny, our host, was friendly and helpful. There is a popular bar nearby so late night noise might be a concern for you - it was fine for us all 4 nights. Excellent place to stay.

The room was quite big, loved that we had a little balcony and that there were wash cloths and shower caps in the bathroom. Perfect location by a little park, only 2 minutes walk to Mdina gate but also close to everything Rabat has to offer. There was also a convenient car park nearby. Owner was very quick to respond to messages when I had questions.
