Casa Barco is a lovely property a 2 minute walk from the Ferry Terminal. It's a house divided into rooms with a communal kitchen. This is our 3rd stay there and we always get the same lovely welcome. The staff are very pleasant and the manager works hard to make sure you have everything you need. Our Aircon wasn't working and they sent a guy straight to the room. You can contact them by WhatsApp so easy to communicate. On a side note....for the days prior to our stay, we had booked a room down town that we realised immediately wasn't for us, so we walked up to CB and they sorted out some accommodation for us. We stayed for two nights in Casa Alkimia and absolutely enjoyed it. The rooms were very charming, comfortable and super clean. The location was incredible convenient to explore everything by foot and though the host provided ear plugs (just in case), there was zero disturbance and we could sleep super well. Special shout out to our host Andrea, who was always there to assist with any type of question and had great advice of what to do in the rest of Yukatan. While others had complained it is far off the center (which is true), it is very much their own fault as you can see that from the location on the map before booking it. I personally liked to be on that less intense area and eat at and discover little, more local, places. Our room, a private double, well exceeded our expectations and was super comfy!!

Very close to a nice beach where you can watch the sunrise. Breakfast was amazing and everyone there was very nice. Check-in was very easy, even tho we arrived close to midnight. They offer beach towels and have a really nice rooftop pool! (Don't wear white when going into the pool).
