The hosts were amazing and so friendly - I loved that we could chat with them and the other guests if we wanted to, and it felt like a super personable welcome to Raiatea. The room was nice, although I hadn't realized when booking that it was accessed via a ladder and had a shared bathroom that was downstairs. In either case though, this was the perfect place for us to stay for 1 night before taking off on a sailboat for a week, and I would recommend Villa U'upa to a friend coming to Raiatea.

The owner and staff were all friendly and helpful. The property is well maintained. The individual villas have private balconies that provide wonderful views as this property sits up the hill with expansive views. We loved having breakfast and happy hour on our balcony enjoying these exquisite views.

Think of Teavapiti Lodge as a typical Airbnb/homestay - not as the Conrad Bora Bora which a lot of sour reviews have seemingly expected. The host was incredibly helpful in making my quick trip to Raiatea a good one, not only offering great local recommendations but also organising a rental car for the day, last minute, and prearranging a taxi for my arrival into Raiatea. The room and bathroom were fantastic, clean and comfortable. You have to cross a shared hallway to reach the bathroom, but who cares? You're staying in an excellent location with a great host and some adorable dogs. Overall, great value for money and I really enjoyed my time in Raiatea. I'd love to come back and stay here again when I return to this beautiful part of the world!

The pool and overall compound is very nice. I love that there is a shared kitchen and living room space. The views are nice. There is plenty of parking if you have a rental car. The hosts were amazing and accommodating. They even made crepes for me for breakfast one morning! Everything is super clean and the bathroom was well equipped with everything you need.
