They waited 40 mins in the airport picking us up without complaint, and we ended up going out on a double date to an Italian pizza place (1 of the hosts is Italian so you can trust him). Everything. A tranquil place with a beautiful garden, far enough from the main road for a quiet night, but close to a variety of restaurants and close to the airport too. Breakfast at the property was delicious each and every day but above all (and this what I actually should have mentioned first in this review!) the hosts Ana and Alvin were so kind and welcoming, and extremely helpful. Ana made a plan for my whole 8 day trip in Palawan and booked all excursions and transport for me!! Where in the world do you find such a service!!! I had a great time at Lokal Hut and in Palawan. I hope to come back one day

Everything about my stay was amazing. It is a modest guest house so if you are looking for a 5 star hotel, this is not your option. However, the owner/managers Chris and Bambi were incredible. They have 15+ years of hospitality experience across the globe so the service, food and overall vibe of the place is a 10/10. I learned so much about local places and did a great tour of the city as well as an amazing night watching the fireflies. I had a very bad experience with an expensive jungle retreat hotel and Pinaluyan saved the day. 10 minutes from the airport. Hottest and most reliable showers I had in my 3 weeks in the Philippines with A/C and great homemade food. Thank you!!!

The owner was caring at every stage of our journey. He even helped us when we were in ElNido and were solving the problem after our little scooter accident. books tickets, organizes trips, we came back once again. I highly recommend it!

Lots of cute dogs and cats that make the place homey. Jonathan, the host, is super kind and helpful. We initially booked for 2 nights and ended up staying 5! Would love to come back! :)
