One of the best places we stayed in. The hosts were so helpful and nice. Everything was perfect and clean. Both the dinner & breakfasts were amazing! Stayed here for 2 nights. On the first morning we left early so they packed us a really nice pack for the hike. One of the best places we stayed in. I hope we can come back here one day. I really can't stop reccomending this place. Parking easy and nice. Great hiking places nearby.

Situated in central Stará Lesná, Penzion Altendorf is located in the High Tatras region. Facilities include a sauna section. Wi-Fi is free of charge in public areas.

The guesthouse is right in the center of Felsőerdőfalva (Stara Lesna), easy to find, there is a restaurant 100 meters away, where they cook excellent food, and a convenience store also 100 meters away in the other direction. The Tatra bus stop is opposite the restaurant, it is also very close. In addition, it is a very quiet place and the view of the mountains is wonderful. There is a large yard and a garden with filagoria, tables, chairs, and benches. The hostess is extremely kind, she pays attention to every guest, she knows where everyone is going on a trip, and if someone has questions or asks for advice, she gives detailed explanations. Our rooms were large, comfortable, bright and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The closed courtyard and parking lot can accommodate 10 cars, more if necessary. In such a guesthouse and with such hostess we felt comfortable and safe.

Very clean, spacious and modern rooms, comfortable beds. The breakfast and dinner was tasty, the dinner portions were big, with 3 courses every day. I would be happy to come back to this place!
