The food was terrific. Much too much for 2 people to eat. We were the only customers early in the week. The View is wonderful! The owners and the Vietnamese cook were wonderful and solicitous and welcoming, despite having no English. They Organised English speaking neighbours to greet us on arrival. And someone else to explain a couple of things by phone. Fabulous place. Fantastic people. The facilities are old but very comfortable.For birding had a cooked breakfast at 6 am. For 250 TWD each extra per day we were given an exceptional dinner and a packed lunch. Dasyueshan is primarily for birding but could be for hiking and a mountain wilderness experience.
