It was cozy just like it was your own home. Bedrooms were nice and comfortable. Nice communal area both inside and outside the house. Fire pit and outdoor bar area. Gated and secure. Dee is happy to help guide you into Moshi and if she’s unavailable she will connect you with others who can help you around. Everyone we met was wonderful and her house staff very kind and helpful! Stayed here twice, before and after climbing Kili. She offered storage for any items we didn’t want to bring on the mountain with us. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Moshi.

Kiwavi Home is one of the best places I’ve stayed in East Africa. The breakfast prepared by Jackie — the happiest, nicest person I’ve met in Tanzania! — in the mornings is gourmet! Truly the best breakfast I have had anywhere I have stayed, many fruits, avocado, eggs, chapati or pancakes, coffee, tea, porridge … whatever your heart desires I’m sure you can find it in this incredible breakfast spread. I am backpacking and Kiwavi Home offers rooms priced within a backpacker budget. Simba is the manager of the place, and is a really kind and helpful person, he can organize cars and trips to the different sights to see in and around Moshi, and he can help advise you on how to do it yourself if your budget is limited and you prefer dala dala. Stay at Kiwavi Home. You will truly be at home here.

The place is close by two super yummy restaurants which is great. The breakfast is great with eggs, fruits and toast and a very yummy coffe! All in all I had a great time even though it was short and I would definitely recommend it!

Tuktuks can be used as an inexpensive way to get around and are readily available. The accommodation was excellent super comfy bed, lovely lounge area and beautiful garden. Breakfast was amazing and varied daily. The host was the most friendly I've ever met in all my years of travel. His motivation is to make every traveller's experience memorable and stress free. There are a number of restaurants nearby. It's only a 7 minute Bajaj ride into town (3000 TZS). Walter is a great host. He went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. We had a lovely cooked breakfast prepared for us every day and the entire place is spotlessly clean.
