Dee is an exceptional host! Felt welcomed and at home from the minute we arrived. She creates a very warm atmosphere where we felt comfortable chilling in the common areas. She helped us arrange transport and a village walking tour! We were sad to leave so soon. Comfy room with a good fan. All parts of the house were very clean and the garden is gorgeous. We had home-cooked dinner here one night and it blew us away and was very romantic with candlelight in the garden. Dee has a great community in town as well!

Truly the best breakfast I have had anywhere I have stayed, many fruits, avocado, eggs, chapati or pancakes, coffee, tea, porridge … whatever your heart desires I’m sure you can find it in this incredible breakfast spread. I am backpacking and Kiwavi Home offers rooms priced within a backpacker budget. Simba is the manager of the place, and is a really kind and helpful person, he can organize cars and trips to the different sights to see in and around Moshi, and he can help advise you on how to do it yourself if your budget is limited and you prefer dala dala. Stay at Kiwavi Home. You will truly be at home here.

This guest house is an amazing place to relax and come close to nature. The hiking trails overlooking the forest are everywhere and the hosts were amazing people and highly welcoming. The breakfast and the dinner were freshly prepared. Bonfire gathering in the evening with wonderful music provided additional comfort and relaxation. I had one of the best experiences of my life staying at this place. I will stay at this place again:))

The place is close by two super yummy restaurants which is great. The breakfast is great with eggs, fruits and toast and a very yummy coffe! All in all I had a great time even though it was short and I would definitely recommend it!

Fantastic, the place is ideally located near the center and bus station so it’s really easy if you have an early bus. The house is beautiful and big, with a nice balcony, I could even see the klilimandjaro from living room and breakfast . Bedroom is very clean , big and nice which for the price is surely the best ratio quality of town. What makes this place truly unique are the very kind owners taking care of you, helping and making sure you have all the assistance in Moshi. Food is absolutely amazing , best diner I had in three month traveling in Africa. Definitely the place you wanna go to if you are backpacking in Africa and looking for authenticity at a great place , thanks
