We stayed in the Lake View room and it was lovely, especially seeing the daily lives of those living around the lake. The room was clean and comfortable. Laundry services were available and the host did an amazing job with our clothes. The homestay is within walking distance to the Imperial City as well as a local market. Great food options in the area. Some of the best spots were in hidden alleys. The homestay is also near a great corner cafe, tasty bánh mì, and an excellent barber. The host for this homestay was so incredibly sweet! It was a joy to interact with her and her visitors. Yes, there is a language barrier, but I'm not sure where most of the reviewers think they are traveling to. You'd think they were going to the UK or Canada with how much English they expect everyone to speak. Folks, you're in Vietnam and there are plenty of translation apps!

Everything! It’s very clean and quiet, even though it’s near a busy location. Mrs Ly is very lovely and caring. She takes time to talk and makes you feel at home right away. I told her my stomach was a little upset and she gave me a warm homemade drink, I felt better quickly after. She also helped me get a tour guide who speaks English the next day and shared some stories about her life. She herself doesn’t speak much English but it didn’t bother me. We used a translation app and brought a friend who could help me translate. Very lovely lady, I hope to meet her again someday!

The lady host was very friendly,.helpful and accommodating. Very knowledgeable, she gave us a lot of advice/suggestions. Bed was very comfy and area amazingly quiet even though the homestay is in the middle busy area of town. Great location.

Amazing stay with Lam and My! From check in to the moment we left they were so welcoming and sweet. Their son even came out to help us with our bags (but could only carry the water bottle 😆). They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could need and even got up with us at 6am to make us an amazing breakfast as we were getting a bus. They organised the bus to Phong Nha for us which picked us from outside the Homestay and it was so so helpful! Breakfast was incredible, My is a wonderful cook and served their local food which had great flavours specific to Hue! It consisted of pho (she cooked a vegetarian one for me which was so thoughtful), omelettes and baguettes, fresh fruit, orange juice (the best we have had!) and coffee. I would recommend this place to anyone going to Hue. I haven’t even got round to the room yet but the building was so well decorated, the room was amazing with a huge bed. Walking distance to the busy nightlife area of Hue which was lovely as you walk over the bridge and then everything you could need is right there. They also recommended restaurants to us on the first night which we went to the next night as well as the food was so good!

The homestay is very clean and comfortable. My room was very nice, the bed was excellent and the shower was excellent. The breakfast was very delicious and of great value. The property is within a short walk of the Imperial City entrance. Close to places to eat and have a beer or coffee with locals. Superb value and the perfect location for people interested in spending extra time at the Imperial City.

The receptionist speaks very good English. The host family was very nice to me. They were very flexible and and always willing to help. They offered me coffee for free and treated me with fruits. The staff were so nice and willing to help in any way. The room itself was very clean and looks recently renovated and very nice. They had Netflix too which was cool! The breakfast was included but it was very simple. This is a more of a home stay so don’t expect hotel experience.
