We had a lovely stay here! Very good value for the money. The couple who run the place are super helpful and accommodating. They offer inexpensive rides to town, will pick up food in town for you and the provided breakfast in house is great.

Everything was perfect, the personeal, the food that they cooked for us, the service was splendid, Levi was so kind and helpful all the time. The rooms were unique and clean, the view beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel!!! They made us feel welcomed and like a family!!!

Very helpful and friendly family run Homestay. They arranged transport to and from Dong Hoi in a nice vehicle. Tours they helped book were excellent, and their rental motorbikes were in good repair. The pool was pleasant, the restaurant simple but quick with an omelette or cold beer.

The owner and his family were really welcoming and nice! I arrived at 4am after a sleeper bus journey, and they woke up in the middle of the night to let me in and let me slept in the main room until a room were available. The room is great, with a nice view of the mountains. The breakfast was delicious too!

A love homestay host by a super friendly family. Que and his family are always hopeful. Although we arrived Phong nha at 4am, he came to pick us up at the very early morning. Really had a good time at Quy’s place.

Funny Monkeys is the perfect home stay located in Phong Nha. It was clean, our room was comfortable and provided all the necessities for a 2 night stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful, assisting us in organising taxi transfers and booking a tour to the caves. Funny Monkeys is situated right on the riverside which makes for a beautiful back drop and the resident dog, Coca is adorable. I also appreciated the laundry service provided by the staff, and the communications with Thuy prior to our arrival. Phong Nha is our favourite location so far in our travels through Vietnam and this is definitely attributable to the wonderful stay we had in Funny Monkeys. Added bonus: the home stay is environmentally conscious and tries to reduce waste which is important to me as a consumer.

I really recommend this homestay because of the helpful owner and great location by the river in this beautiful village. The room I got was very spacious and nice with beautiful view. Breakfast was also very nice and the owner can drive you with motorbike to the famous caves. I had a great time at Applebee's!
