I stayed in Casa Lagunita, a tranquil/lone lodge with a view of a pond, surrounded by tall, gorgeous orange Margaritas that line the walkway that leads to a seating area and by a large variety of vegetation in the growth process. The eco design of the cabin was eye-catching and comfortably spacious. It was definitely the place I needed for a restful getaway. The fresh breakfast was great and the attention from the hosts and staff was wonderful! Almost forgot to mention how much I enjoyed the beautiful gardens and orchards!

Hostel Serena in Samaipata offers free WiFi and private parking on site, the hostel is open 24 hours per day. A not too big family run hostel with a homely atmosphere with awesome backpackers vibes. The perfect retreat for anyone staying in Samaipata. The location is perfect being only a short 10 minute stroll from the town centre. The accommodation itself is beautiful with hammocks overlooking the town and a laid back environment perfect for any holiday. Lastly Bert and his wife truly make you feel like friends and family and not just guests. I could not recommend this accommodation more highly.

We had a wonderful stay at Tanja's house. They are very lovely and helpful, they gave us a lot of good tips for Samaipata and we had a great time with them. It's a little walk away from the city center, but it's worth it, the house is nice and clean and feels like home :)

Pool and gym free to use (even though the opening hours of the gym are a little unpredictable). The Tour to Lomas the Arena from the Hostel is definitely great to add to your list of things to do in Santa Cruz! Breakfast has everything you desire, even fruits!
