At the guest house, every unit has a wardrobe. Wow wow wow wow! Everything was incredible here. Easily one of the best places I have ever stayed in my life. This is how tourism should be. Maria and Manuel are so welcoming, kind, and compassionate. They shared their story with us and told us about their project of building the beautiful lodge, and how they are using it to empower and give back to their community in Mocagua. Currently, this ecolodge supports over 30 families in the community. We felt so fortunate to be able to meet such incredible people and share a wonderful few days on the Amazon river with them and the larger Mocagua community. If you are interested in ethical and sustainable tourism, where you are visiting a place and giving back to the local indigenous community and learning from them, this is the spot for you. On top of that, the facilities were clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Food is AMAZING! And all the excursions were fantastic. So much fun!!

Close to city center. Bedroom had a big window for Airflow. Our room was at the back, no street noise at all.

There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. I spent four days with Maricela in the bedroom with a private bathroom. Maricela is a lovely host, she picked me up at the airport and she talked me through different options of things to do in the upcoming days. She can put you in contact with a guide for any type of activity you would like to do. Her house is very nice, very welcoming (and her dog Niky is lovely!) My room had AC and a hammock in front of the door, super cosy. The bathroom was clean and very big. You can take a moto-taxi to town (Maricela can call one for you) or walk, it takes around 15/20 minutes and it's very secure. I really appreciated that Maricela was always waiting for me when I came back from dinner or activities - as someone travelling alone, it was nice to know someone was looking after me. I would recommend going for lunch in Terras Amazonas (excellent Wifi) and have ice cream at Nàì Chì Gelatería Artesanal after watching the birds settle for the night in Park Santander... Magic!

The property boasts fruit trees and gardens. The area is popular for hiking and biking. I loved the location, it is in a neighborhood. It isn't easy to find but I appreciated that someone met me at the place of disembarkation to take me to the place. The house is very cute and comfortable. There is only cold water for the shower, but that is expected and normal in Amazonas. I loved having a fan in the room that worked really well, and enjoyed the hammock in the living room quite a lot. There is also a cat that lives there that is VERY friendly, and I loved her. Thank you for the stay! :)

They could not have done more to make our stay more pleasurable. The accommodation is lovely, clean and comfortable and in a great location.
