Beautifully appointed and creatively styled little cabin rooms in a central part of town. Loved the quirky details and decor Easy walk to all the sights in town. AMAZING VIEW from the breakfast table, photos don't do it justice. The friendly owners were helpful with recommendations and made a delicious and varied breakfast. Highly recommend Filandia over Salento... if you are hesitating, don't!!

Offering a terrace and mountain view, Km0 Hostel is located in Salento, 47 km from Ukumari Zoo and 36 km from Pereira's Botanical Garden. Very nice accommodation, spacious private room, the receptionist was very kind to wait for us since we arrive late to the hostel. Facilities are good, water pressure is great, hot water works perfectly (and very well needed). There’s a small store downstairs where you can do laundry for a small price.

Casa San Pedro - Salento, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Salento, 46 km from Ukumari Zoo, 35 km from Pereira's Botanical Garden, as well as 35 km from Technological University of Pereira. Friendly owner, cosy room with hot shower, very close to bus and central plaza.

A recently renovated property, NOGAL HOSTEL is located in Pereira near Founders Monument, César Gaviria Trujillo Viaduct and Cathedral of Our Lady of Poverty. Nogal Hostel offers modern and clean facilities, centrally located from well-rated restaurants and bars at walking distance. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast, which was included in our stay, was tasty and filling. More details from our stay: My friends and I occupied 3 private rooms and had the hostel almost to ourselves, making our experience very familiar and comfortable. Personally, I stayed in a Private room with Shared bathroom. The room was large with closet space, fan, TV and it was warmly illuminated and decorated. The bathroom was easily accessible (next door), was always clean, and offered a hot shower with strong pressure. A great stay overall.

Situated 42 km from Ukumari Zoo, Casa Laureles offers accommodation with a patio, as well as an open-air bath and a garden. This was probably our best accomodation in Colombia. It's a little paradise in the beautiful countryside outside of Filandia - beautiful large garden with various birds flying around all the time (colibris, parrots, condors), stylish rooms and the best host Gloria who was super helpful with everything we needed.
