The staff is super friendly and helpful (they booked bustickets and activities for us). The owner Darío is also really nice and on Friday we received a salsa lesson from his wife, which was a lot of fun! The pool is great for the hot days. The shower also gets really hot (you don’t know how much you miss hot showers until you don’t have them available anymore) and everything is spotless clean. The location is amazing as well, everything is around the corner.

Featuring a garden and views of city, Real Dream Hostel is a recently renovated guest house located in San Gil, 42 km from Chicamocha National Park. We loved our stay at Real Dreams. The owners were fantastic and very helpful recommending local places to eat and helped with info on activities. Henry made excellent breakfasts everyday. This hotel is just a block away from the small bus terminal that services Barichara and all the local towns and just a few blocks from main park in San Gil. Super clean and a good choice of room types. We felt at home and will always return.

I love the home is decorated so nicely. The bedroom was spacious and we had a private bathroom. They also allowed us access to use the kitchen, which is very convenient for breakfast.

Johana and her family are great hosts and really go out of their way to help you. The place is very well maintained, beds are comfortable, there's warm water and they had excellen laundry service. Kitchen is well equipped and it's also super close to the best restaurants in town

Everything was very clean and nice. The patio and shared spaces were beautiful and the location was pretty good as well.

Ended up spending 5 nights. The host’s (including their two dogs) is the kindest and warmest people, and they would help you with any questions you should have. They do everything to make you feel at home. Would recommend this place to everyone. A perfect peaceful place to relax after an adventures day, with the most magical view of the mountains. Definitely coming back when you get your pool done ;-)
