Casa del Sol provides a garden, as well as accommodation with a kitchenette in Tamarindo, 100 metres from Tamarindo Beach. Emanuel helped make my stay in Tamarindo perfect. He helped with shuttle service both to and from his hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again if I came back. The common kitchen had everything you need to make a few meals yourself.

Located in Ocotal, Guesthouse Casa Avi Fauna offers an outdoor pool and outdoor kitchen. This homestay accommodation has air conditioning, a private bathroom with hot water, and free Wi-Fi. The guesthouse is run by the owners without staff. Both are multi-lingual, very friendly and are very knowledgeable about the area. We enjoyed our conversations with them. Both the site and the room were clean and pleasing to the eye. The rooms are also individually air conditioned. An out-door kitchen is maintained where guests take care of their own breakfasts and other meals. The pool (not chlorinated) is clean and deep. The site is relatively remote and very quiet, thus of course, we had a variety of bird life come and visit. The road to the guesthouse is surfaced but narrow and with steep grades typically found in the area. The site is close to Ocotal Beach and several other beaches.

Perro Loco Villas is located in Paraíso and features a private pool and garden views. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Every room comes with a patio. David helped get us settled and was really friendly and helpful. The room was great and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans/utensils we needed to cook. The yard and pool were beautiful and it felt pretty luxurious to have our own private outdoor space. The wifi was fast and the tv had youtube/netflix etc.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Surf House is a recently renovated homestay located in Sámara, 1.5 km from Samara Beach. With quiet street views, this accommodation provides a patio. I really like Alex's reception and tips. He always made sure I was comfortable during my stay. The place is very cosy, the internet very good to work and I will definitely come back If I come back to Samara.

Located in Matapalo in the Guanacaste region, POSADA MIRADIA provides accommodation with free private parking. It’s has air conditioning, room was clean with a nice layout, view from breakfast area was pleasant, plenty of parking. We felt safe. The overall up keep of the property was excellent. It is a quiet neighborhood with Guanacaste trees in the area.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, mountain view and a balcony, Suite La Orquidea is set in Tamarindo. It felt like an oasis on the edge of the hustle and bustle of the delightful town of Tamarindo. It was so relaxing and refreshing to come back to rest and relax at the Suite La Orquidea. Everything my wife and I needed to enjoy our visit was provided by our hosts, Mariela and Sergio. The pool was always clean, and the outside courtyard surrounding the pool was like a botanic garden. We felt secure, safe, and well looked after. Sergio made sure we knew where there were good restaurants and the best grocery stores. All around, this was one of the most relaxing places I've stayed in.

A beautiful oasis created by the owners, Sergio and Mariella. Both are artists and have designed a space that is filled with both natural and artistic flair. The pool is cool and refreshing, the room impeccable and comfortable. A real treat and the best facilities we have had so far in Costa Rica. Would recommend highly if you are looking for a place to relax and explore the area. Everything you need is close by and if there is anything missing, the hosts are available at all times and happy to assist.

1.3 km from Conchal, Villa Pura Vida is a recently renovated property located in Matapalo and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The accommodation has a spa bath. Great location, great hosts (súper welcoming German couple) Clean room with a super balcony and view.

Situated in Carrillo, House in the palm forest features accommodation with pool with a view, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. Driving into the property you feel like you’re entering a peaceful garden paradise. The beauty of the jungle comes to life with the howler monkeys and scarlet macaws. The owners worked hard to make sure I had everything I needed. They are very friendly and helpful. Very clean rooms. It’s a truly magical place, so calm, quiet and serene.
