From the check-in, the clean an spacious room, the wonderful nature around the house to the very friendly hosts. The bath was very nice and clean as well. Also, it is only 10 minutes car ride away from the Manuel Antion park. Would highly recommend it. But you got to be prepared to communicate in spanish or improvise with hand gestures because the hosts don't speak english. This is not a downside but just for information.

This is an exceptional location, not traditional. The house is located in the middle of a coffee farm, not just coffee but all other fruits like banana, sweet lemon, cocoa etc. are available. You will have beautiful view from your room. Jose and Jennifer are very kind hosts, the breakfast and dinners are fantastic. Coffee tour in the property is a must. You can learn a lot about the farm and sustainable agriculture. We had wonderful time.

Golfito Maison D'hôtes er heimagisting sem er vel staðsett fyrir streitulaust frí í Golfito og er með útsýni yfir ána. Gististaðurinn er með garð, sameiginlega setustofu og bílastæði á staðnum. Very nice hosts, the food is amazing.

Selva Linda Lodge vacation rentals er staðsett í Quepos og er með sundlaug með útsýni og garðútsýni. Það er sérinngangur á gistihúsinu til aukinna þæginda fyrir þá sem dvelja á staðnum. Great place in the middle of nature. We can always watch monkeys from our balcony and there's 2 hammocks which is perfect for a couple. There are 2 other rental properties in the compound but we felt privacy as our balcony was opposite the others and facing just nature. Kitchen is equipped enough for simple meals. The swimming pool is nice to have is the Costa Rican heat. Owners are very kind.

Karandi Hostel er staðsett í Uvita, nálægt Uvita-ströndinni og 14 km frá Alturas-dýralífsverndarsvæðinu. Það býður upp á svalir með garðútsýni, garð og bar. It was nice to have a kitchen and the plates/utensils/etc. were well stocked. The location was fantastic, very short walk to the beach. 10-15 minutes? And you are in a quiet area, there's a river and so much wildlife that you can just stare at while you enjoy a meal. Everyone who was staying here was very kind and it was easy to socialize which I find important as a solo traveler. Naturally, this will depend on the group that you get during your travels. There is a workout area, which could be nice. It's minimal but it's better than nothing if you'd like to work out. There's a restaurant that's run as part of the hostel. If you pay cash, you get a small discount as a traveler staying at the hostel. The room I was in had a shelf and drawers to be split among the travelers (1 shelf and ~1 drawer each), which I found to be sufficient and nice. The patio provides a place to dry clothes. There is no AC but there is a fan. I was always comfortable sleeping. It takes a long time for anything to dry here so consider packing clothing that is quick dry. Also, thanks to the humidity on the coast of Costa Rica, it's quite difficult to wear long layers as I typically do while traveling - so as a non-related hotel note I would consider this as you pack and maybe pack more shorts (I only had one pair and regretted it). The staff are incredibly helpful and willing to help you with your planning and the questions you may have about your travels. Sheets are changed daily. I really liked it here and would stay again. I think the value is great for the price. As a reminder for the things I forgot...1 - there are lockers, bring a lock to lock up valuables. 2 -soap/shampoo are not provided for showering, so be sure to bring your own! (And as a note to humidity, bottles of soap/shampoo are better as my soap bar would not dry in my time in Costa Rica) 3 -Towel is not provided, bring your own or be prepared to spend $1 a day to rent

Roy, the owner of the place as well as his family, are super friendly and hostile. They made our stay a really nice experience in a calm environment close to nature!! Roy makes an I creadible pizza that we really recommend you to try. The place is also super close to the adventure parks for the zip lines and the e hanging bridges. Highly recommended!

Casa Quepos er staðsett í innan við 1,2 km fjarlægð frá Marina Pez Vela og 22 km frá Rainmaker Costa Rica í Quepos og býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. We had a great stay, the hosts are very nice people and have a cute dog named Coco! The room is small but comfortable with two fans. We could use the kitchen to make our own meals and the bus station is very close. The breakfast was very tasty too!

Casa Osa de Rio er staðsett við hliðina á ánni Cortezal og aðeins 250 metra frá Uvita-fossinum. Gestir geta notið náttúrunnar með fuglum frá svæðinu og hitabeltisgarði. The location was perfect, in nature, quite, close to the streaming cascade and pools. everything green and welcoming. Ginnette, the host was so nice and helpful with tips and suggestions. we will decently recommend and would like to visit again.
